Carlsbad Caverns National Park

My Two Cents:
- Carlsbad Caverns National Park is incredibly beautiful. It is a very different National Park from all the ones that I have been to. You go deep down to the cave. The rock formations are just so cool looking. I would not mind visiting it again in the future.
Things To Do:
- We did the self-guided tour that consists of two tours: Nature Entrance and Big Room.
(Way to Nature Entrance)
(Going inside the cave via Nature Entrance) - It took us about 2 hours to complete both tours. Make sure you arrive there on time if you want to do the Nature Entrance. I strongly recommend you do this tour. They have specific time when the tour is available. Basically, you have a choice to go down the cave via the Nature Entrance or the Big Room, which is via the elevator.

- Nature Entrance will eventually take you to the Big Room, but before that, there will be a rest area where the elevator is located. There's also a place to eat down there.
(Chinese Theater in the Big Room) - Bat-Flight program is also available. We could not do that due to it was rainning. Make sure you stay for that

Restaurants:
- We ate at a quick check out place that is in the building next to a gift shop.
Things To Know:
- We missed the turn to the National Park while driving. There was road construction there, and the turning road was so tiny that we could not see it. So make sure lay your eyes on the sign that says Carlsbad Caverns National Park and how many miles left. Thank God, we had a GPS ;)
- Bring a jacket with you if you can. It was not very cold when we were there, but just in case. It is a hiking park, so be prepared for that.
- Take a good camera with flash with you if you want to take some great pictures. It's really
dark down there
